Plunkett, Griesenbeck & Mimari, Inc.
- Bruce E. Anderson -

Bruce E. AndersonI focus my practice predominately in the area of medical malpractice litigation, including cases involving medical products.  I have averaged four medical malpractice jury trials per year and have tried cases in virtually every part of Texas.  However, in the last ten years, my primary focus has been on the central and south Texas area.  I have tried a number of dangerous medical malpractice cases in Laredo, winning almost all of them, and have tried a significant number of cases in San Antonio. Two years ago, I had the unique experience of receiving two unanimous defense verdicts in the same week.

Additionally, I have served as an adjunct Professor of Law at St. Mary's University School of Law since 2003, teaching the nuances of medical malpractice litigation.

I earned my J.D. from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Law in 1975, where I served on the school's Law Review and was awarded several honors, including the American Jurisprudence Prize in Constitutional Law, the Judge Roy W. Harper Prize for Best Work in Federal Courts and the Russell Castile Scholarship for 1974-75.

I also served as a law clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals from 1975-76.

Prior to law school I earned my B.A. in Political Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1970.  I also spent two years between undergraduate and law school serving as an Operations Officer for the United States Navy.
